Any progress yet from using the bullet supercharger?
I havent been in touch with them for a week or so, Im in Darwin at the moment, so I have no hurry for the car to be done. This is the first time they have fitted this setup on a Soarer, so my 32 is somewhat a donor car to put a kit together. Other things that are being done are Injectors, WolfV500 and Water/Meth. Ill probably see how things are going next week.. Cheers.

Ok i give in ...Why in the Brochure does it say "Note: This kit will not fit a Soarer/Lexus LS400 without modification" Any idea's People ?? What sort of Modification is required ?? Hole in the bonnet or a big dent in the fire-wall ??

Thats why my car is the donor car for Bullet to put the kit together to suit the soarer, I know the the rear intake needed to be modified And as far as bonnet clearance goes, Im not sure where the're at with that. I might give them a call to get an update on the progress. Cheers..

Thanks Nathan...I rang EATON yesterday to get the specs and they also said to contact Bullet regards fitment into Soarers..Most of the info that I was after was e-mailed to me (snout lengths adaptors etc etc and the 2 types of housings available..Big difference between them. Cheers mate and send some piccies when its finished.

I was down at Bullet last week as I'm looking into the same supercharger kit for my ute, and they said that they are awaiting some superchargers to be sent up as Harrop do not have any rotors at the moment, they are expecting to see a supercharger at Bullet by the end of next week. On a side note, tidy looking soarer you have Nathan.

Just a quick update.
The fitment of the HTV is looking good, I have about 7mm clearance from the bonnet lining, so no cutting into the bonnet there. The rear intake that will be used is off the V8 Land cruiser kit, no modification of the firewall needed either.
The rush extractors are on, lager injectors are in, now its fuel lines (these needed to be re-routed and the injector rails had to be reversed).
Overall its looking pretty good.. We will run it on the factory ECU first at about 5 psi, then it looks like we will put in the Wolf V500 and ramp the boost up, Water/Meth might be on the cards too, But the HTV runs quite cool, so we might be able to get a fair amount of boost before that is required.
I have a couple of pics, they're too big so Ill upload them to photo bucket, and post the link.

I'm not too excited yet, I'm in Darwin, and have'nt driven the soarer for over 2 years.
I'm sure once I drive it Ill cream in my pants, but that's neither here nor there.
We are looking at having it on the dyno an the next couple of weeks or so on the standard computer to make the base for their kit.
After that might be a month or so to get it back on the dyno for a run with the first stage of my set up.
I have quite high hopes of the HTV series blowers, I've seen the back to back tests that they have done between the HTV2300 and the W140AX on the C300, and the HTV delivered 70 more HP than the Whipple under the same conditions.

Greg took the Soarer for a run the other day, Its running too rich on the standard computer, so Ill be fitting the Wolf V500. Very impressed with the install, Ill put a link to some pics on my thread.
Took this quote from Chris Heits thread.
Nathan what size injectors to be running rich, if you want to run low boost to begin with you will need stock injectors, but you need to fit a rising rate fuel reg to stop from leaning out.

Hey Paul, we have fitted 440 injectors, mainly due to the fact that the fuel rails required some modification, we put them in while we were there. Along with that a 550hp Walbro fuel pump.
The boost was over 12psi with a 70mm pulley. The AFR was down to 9.5/1. So we will look at a 75mm and an 80mm pulley to see what boost we will get.
However Im looking at 12-15psi to begin with. Cant wait to see the numbers!!

How well does a 70mm or larger pulley fit under the bonnet.
The 70mm pulley gives about 7mm of clearance from the bonnet lining. An 80mm pulley I think you would have to cut the lining, much bigger than that, you might have to look at cutting the frame.

Does the clearance allow for torque moving the engine as well ? WOuldnt wanna take ti down the road, Gas it and find out it touches the lining or framework when its under load.

Different blower frames/snout locations and lenghths or a combination of either could cause that?
Anyway, I have been missing out, should have been reading this thread as Ive been emailing Greg back and forth about fitting this kit on a Celsior.
Hate to hijack, but does anyone know if theres more...or less clearence under the hood of a celsior compared to a soarer?
I was half set on buying the M90 kit until I saw these HTV threads and the link on bulletcars.
Nathan, is your soarer white by any chance? think I might of seen it at a motorkhana a while ago.
I asked greg about supplying a lager pulley to allow for less boost: i.e. getting it set up and running on the factory ecu, but he was a bit how ya going, so I think Ill do the ecu first:
What made you guys decide on the Wolf V500? What ECU does bullet supply with their ECU/Fuel Injector upgrade?

Hey all, sorry I havent been keeping you all updated.
So this is where Im at at this stage.
Fitted by Bullet so far is: HTV 1900 with 70mm pulley, Walbro 550hp fuel pump, 9 Modified Bosch 440cc injectors, Rush Extractors.

No not white, its that wine colour.

The pulley has rubbed on the insulation, we will try and fasten that section hard up against the bonnet.

Id say there might be more, you can fit a strut brace to a Celly over a M90.

I went for the Wolf as its plug and play, should have the ECU next week hopefully and then its on the Dyno. Bullet usually supply an Autronic item.
A 70mm pulley we think will give around 12psi or so on the 1UZ, Greg has ordered 75mm & 80mm pulleys to drop the boost down for stock ECU applications.
