hey guys.

any of you guys using aftermarket coil to boost you ignition system. I have blown a coil and thought this may be a good time to upgrade.

Hey Gianni, how'd you go? i just did the same as you and was wondering the same thing. Castle hill came back to me with $164 each. so if i can't find a decent aftermarket replacement i'll just go factory again

You should be able to get stock V8 coils for around $80 from Repco and similar stores.

would you advise going for something with some bigger kick like msd or something? with the forced induction and soon more boost. I was looking at doing msd ignition as well

Stock denso coils (entire stock ignition system) were good enough for a built and blown 1uz running sub 9 second passes.
