Just a quick note on update so far . I sold my M90 kit almost 12 months ago and put the car back to stock but couldn't take the lack of power after the M90 . Ended up with a new kit from Andrew but to suit the 2.3L Whipple . Taken a long time and lots of changes had to be made to fit it up but with the help of Peter Taplin , Paul Drane and Robbie from Wolf it made it a lot easier, it slowly came together . New engine is .040" over with 8.5:1 Pistons , all new bearings and ARP rod bolts , Cams , good bit of head work ,ARP head stud kit Wolf V500 ECU , all new valves , new valves springs with more pressure on the seat , still running the water/meth injection but changed the nozzle setup so i can run Enderle nozzles and holder , 440cc injectors .

Hi Jamie , I think your looking at the PVC Valve Line. On the stock V8 it go's into the side of the intake Manifold .

Thanks guys , Nathan it will be around 15psi/16psi but until we get it on the dyno or a road tune it maybe a few psi high or lower , I have a few spare pulleys i can use so should be ok .I only just got it running a few days ago but havn't had a chance to do anymore on it .Something i am looking at doing is running my water/meth into each intake runner , have worked out the size nozzle i need and the pump will run 8 nozzles so that maybe the next thing before i get it on the dyno .

I have clearance , but you don't want to go there , took a lot to get it to fit on the UZZ32
Even with a 90mm top pulley i still have clearance so looking ok . I went to a lot of trouble to make sure it would fit , First took 7mm out of the bottom of the engine mounts stands then added what i took off from the bottom by welded a 7mm spacer back in on the top to keep the same thickness , Took the 5mm spacer out that comes with the kit ,it sits under the Whipple and on the top plate ,also took 5mm off the top of the manifold . Still being worried it would be close i made shims to fit under the chassis rails and dropped them ALL by 5mm , so I ended up dropping the engine down by 12mm and the supercharger down by 10mm . I have run it today for the first time on the road and with the 90mm pulley and nothing hits so when i go back to the 80mm pulley I will take the 5mm out from under the chassis rails .

Because of the amount taken from the manifold and the 5mm shim under the blower the rear manifold where the throttle body bolts onto hit the fuel rails so have to do some work on them also . It was a bit of F--King around but it wasn't that bad and worked ok in the end .

Ali , no tune in it yet .I have had a go at it but running so rich even trimming the fuel right back it just kills the Spark Plugs .It has to go to Cairns to do the tune . I am 1.1/2 hours away from Cairns . I have the bigger pulley on it for now and that will push out about 12psi , running the stock ECU with 315cc injectors , Because of the new 8.5:1 pistons I can get away with it for now just to run the engine in . Then I will take it up to Cairns and plug the V500 Wolf back in and back to the 440cc injectors . That the good thing about the V500 Wolf it's plug and play , no cutting of any wiring at all .

Ali , not sure what it will end up with as far as power go's , A friend in Melbourne and I have almost the same set up and he has just put a Whipple on two cars (both UZZ32's) , not long after he got his going and with a quick tune in it he was making about 330Kw's so I was hoping for around 300++ also .He has different cams then me but i think that about it , I have water/meth injection not sure if he has .Time will tell .

I was thinking of tying to fabricate individual water/meth injection on my setup also, I'd be very interested to know how you go with it.

I would have put my money on 330rwkw without water/meth at 16psi, would I be too far off guessing 350rwkw with water/meth?

Would there be the chance that you will do a power run on the dyno without the active suspension pump hooked up? I'd like to know what the draw of it is.

All the work you have done in getting this setup into the 32 is unreal, kind of makes me want to see if there is anyway of getting the HTV2300 to fit. Although I think it's length would be the problem, some fabrication of the firewall would be required at the least to fit the intake I'd say.

Anyway, great work and congrats on your setup, I look forward to seeing the numbers this produces.

Again, well done.

Nath.

HI Nathan , Thanks mate , I am sure it would fit without some of the things i did but didn't want to put it in the car only to find it hit the bonnet . I don't think i would be taking the Sus belt off when on the dyno , to much trouble getting under my car , If i have the time when i do it I may think about now . I will be doing some runs without the water/meth on then try it without .With the M90 is was 10hp but I have changed the nozzle to one of my race car port nozzles , Peter Scott did some runs without the belt on his car a few years back but don't remember the numbers i know it took a bit to drive .

Hi Raj , right now i am still running the stock factory ecu to run the engine in , with 8.5:1 pistons i am getting away with it and only about 12psi . When run in the Wolf will go back on and the 440cc injectors then to Cairns for the tune .
