Hi Mike,
It has not been on a dyno but I would estimate it to be between 280 - 300rwkw based on other builds to the same spec.
I'm not a big fan of dyno jockies. I do all of my tuning on the street myself and power runs on the track with data logs to check afr's through the range.
I know it has way more power than I need in an 1,100kg car and was a big step up from NA.

Sounds exciting. I met up with a few guys with Cobra replicas some running 1UZ's and the usual American V8's, built on old Crown chassis. Awesome machines.
I agree, dynos aren't the greatest.
Clearly the TVS chagers or Whipple W series are the way to go.
I am considering making up a positive displacement supercharger setup for my BMW's I6 M50B25 engine in a few months, so I would opt for a newer more efficent charger to get the most out of it, ruling out using an intercooler setup that would cost around $1000 to do decently, seems more logical to invest that extra grand into a decent charger to start with!
Meanwhile I have nearly finished my own M90 - 1UZ setup up. A good learning curve using the old cheap chargers. At least some people out their still want them because they are cheap.

I have drawings of all the TVS/HTV range if anyone wants them. drop me a pm or email.
The reason I put the max for the 1900 at about 12 psi (70MM pulley) is because the pulley then gets too small when running a std crank pulley and you would probably start to get belt slip.
A 2300 with an 85mm pulley will give around 12-13 psi a 75mm pulley will be around 17psi.
The important thing to look at as well is the efficiency graph and aim to be running as close as possible in and through the sweet spot.
Higher boost >12psi brings it's own problems and expense as per my post above so it's your budget and HP goal that will dictate what is the best fit supercharger for you.
Also don't get caught up on pressure without considering efficiency/air temp. 9psi on a TVS is a lot more air than 9psi on an M90.

61mm pulley has no issues on M90 with belt slip, with larger supercharger power drive requirements the belt slip potential increases ie bigger supercharger.
Bullet have run a 65mm pulley 6 rib belt on the HTV1900 without issue during testing I believe on a 1uz.

Sure is and the key is where you are operating in the curve. M90 is within a few % efficiency wise of a 1.5lt twin screw at 5psi (and requires less hp to drive the M90 compared with a twin screw) but anything beyond that the efficiency drops away compared with a twin screw. M90 still operates ok at 7psi but when running beyond this there efficiency and discharge temps exponentially go bad.

Mike, Why bother with the smaller Twin !
James, Way to much air mate, but fark me it would look good W175AX would be largest I would / was planning on going. But then again, if going that crazy, I'd be straight up on an 871 Rootes, yeah baby 1,000hp comin my way, hahahahahahahaah

This is all something I seriously need to consider in the future. Everyone says I'll get bored of the m90 within six months. I'm after around 230 - 250 rwkw, though ideally I would love to be able to run 300. This isn't possible though on an m90 now is it.
I really don't know enough about superchargers to make an informed decision.

Did the search found the only kit from bullet that has a TVS based charger and it said on the page "Note: Does not fit lexus sc400/soarer without modifications" or something like that... But them I found another thread on here of someone, nathan? i think his name was who managed to pop one on to his soarer with no mods... Soo, worth buying?

With the TVS the mods they are talking about are some sort of tunable ecu, fuel pump, injectors etc (need this once the boost goes over about 9psi), it will fit under the bonnet, most of the m90's run about 5 psi and the factory ecu and injectors can cope with that. Bottom line, HP costs money, then once you have the pony's you will have to follow through with transmission, diff, brakes, suspension, etc... the chase is endless.

Hi Hays,
Yes I have the HTV1900 (TVS) fitted in my UZZ32. I wouldn't say it fitted with no modification, but there was no fabricating required. In the early stages we thought we would have to modify the bonnet and firewall but this ended up not being the case.
I highly regard the TVS blowers, and would recommend them depending on what your long term goals are. I will be looking at upgrading to the HTV2300 sometime next year, now that will be a tight squeeze!
But this being said, the setup on my car is not anything boring, it is very much a sleeper and understated. I get confused looks from skyline owners wondering why they can't keep up with a V8 Soarer!
Anyway, if your interested in the HTV, feel free to send me an email; nathan.richardson@airnorth.com.au and give Bullet Cars a call and have a chat with Greg Markham, he did the work for me. He will be able to give you an idea of the price, work and time involved. I'm pretty sure they should have made up instructions (DIY) for fitting the kit to a Soarer after fitting mine.

Thanks for the reply Nathan. Thanks for the contacts. Yeah, I'm very interested in the kit but it's a bit early at this stage for me to fit one in. I'm still in the "research" stage...But I'll definitely keep you in mind for when i get along with it.
