Do you mean the TV or the EMV screen itself? If you don't have one, then you'd need to mod the aircon etc. Look for the posts on EMV->Climate control conversion. You'd need to do the reverse. Then you'd have to get the radio, DSP and stacker (maybe even the main amp and sub amp). Then, unless the radio has been modified you'd have one station (or get an FM expander). On top of that, they are old, the back lights can fail, the inverter can fail etc. I had mine repaired and it cost me $450 or there abouts. I would have been better off putting that into a climate control conversion and after market touch screen.
I am currently looking for another Soarer. The reason is I want to simplify, no airbags, no EMV. I also want something with a sun roof, so they're not the only reasons, but it is one less thing to break.
If you don't have one, I'd advise keeping it simple, and putting in an aftermarket 7" touch screen.

I agree with Michael. Others are trying to get away from the EMV screen and you want to put one in? There is another thread and someone else want to convert his coilovers with airbags.
To answer your question, it is not easy. You have to at least mod your air & radio and still end up with a few useless buttons.
