Hello lads.
I have had this Adaptronic ECU laying around my shed for over a year now, I've been wanting to supercharge the old girl but can never spare the cash. I also have a Loom for it, Bought it from a guy on here who wrote his beast off.
What i am wondering is, Is it worth getting it installed and tuned without a blower + all the supporting mods? Will i get any noticeable power out of it?
Mods of it so far Is just the built transmission and Full 2.5inch extracted exhaust.
Should I get anything else with it to make it a bit better?
The problem is, The car is too slow. It looks the goods, has a wicked sound system and everything else. I just want something faster, I would swap it for something fast that hasn't had any exterior work done to it but, i cant seem to find the right car.

Hahaha! Really??
So it has gone from QLD to WA and back again
I chose the centrifugal option because it was cheap and quite neat.
What I didn't like was the way the boost came on.
If you check out my dyno graph you will see the boost line rise with the RPM in a nice neat line and reach 10 psi at redline.
If it was turbo'ed, that line would hit 10 psi at 2500 RPM and keep it there all the way to redline.
And you can adjust the level of boost to your desire without removing the unit and replacing the pulley, no belt slipping issues and way more potential for upping the power.
What I don't like about the turbo setup is how messy it is and putting a stinking hot turbo up near the belts and radiator..
But I think i'd get over that with ceramic coating and wrapping and a good setup.
If cihan ever makes a kit, that's what i'd be putting in

Yes I can run if the water meth tank runs dry.
I have a float switch in the water meth tank that switches over to the second (safe) fuel and ignition map. The tank is a custom made 8 lt tank that sits in the passenger foot well as a foot rest and on a track day I would use around 2 -3 lt. Remember it is only used on boost. Mix ratio is 50:50 by weight. Street driving the water meth is rarely used, I need my license for my job.
Water meth PWM output is triggered by an anded MAP & RPM input and is then varied by boost level. I see post supercharger air temps around 15c + ambient.
