That is a tight fit with that heat exchanger! Have you shielded it from the exhaust at all? It would be interesting to see the air charge temp out of it.
Good work

Thats a crazy looking setup! From what I've seen seems rather hard to cool a M90 or M112 while keeping the engine bay easy on the eye. Although expensive, the twin screw whipple chargers are the best way to go avoiding the need of a complicated intercooler setup.

My m90 setup is just producing too much heat. The tuner today told me he did the maximum timing retard that the emanage allows and still there is a bit of knock there. It made 175rwkw and said I'd probably get the same output or similar taking the charger off unless I can bring the intake temps down or run higher octane. Tuned for 98. Any ideas fellas? It's going on lpg for a vapour injection setup which will have a higher octane, I know liquid would be even better but its just way too pricy. It's just a daily ap.don't want anything over the top. Is there any way to run an intercooler setup or is it way too much hassle?

Scott, try decoking the combustion chambers and maybe run a water/meth inj system, I am pushing 12 1/2 psi into mine, you obviously wont get that with the m90 but you should at least be able to run up 8 psi with out any issues. to much hassle to run an intercooler, especially air to air, water to air I believe the gains are not that great. Liquid lpg inj is supposed to very beneficial, havent seen any figures to back it up though.

Good luck getting that to work well under boost, I have never heard anything good about vapour injection and boost, make sure you take it to an independent dyno and get the AFR's checked after it's done.
