Hi All,
I recently purchased a bulletscar HTV1900 package for my UZZ31. For initial install I'll be using 7MGE Injectors, Walbro GSS342 Pump and FPR.
For management I've narrowed it down to Adaptronic E420D and E440D. I'm leaning towards E420D due to additional cost of E440D and additional features not required. I just want to confirm the E420D would meet requirements of HTV1900 project.

I would go with the E440D. If you decide to upgrade later and would like to go further with it (which most people who have done it have decided to) the E440D will be much better and it can run the coil on plug setup as well because of the extra outputs. Better off buying it now then having to sell yours and buy it later. I'm going the E440D with my setup because i'm running coil on plug

You hit the nail on the head Ali , you can have the best ECU but if your tuner isn't up with that ECU it can cost you big money . In my UZZ32 my first ECU was an Adaptronic , my tuner could never get it working right and after many weeks on the dyno he just gave up and I couldn't blame him one bit , had a few guys look at it who knew there work but it was no good in my car . I ended up cutting it out and selling it then went for the V500 WOLF , its plug and play with no wiring to cut into, I also found the WOLF much easer to understand , I don't say for one sec that the adaptronic is a bad ECU but it just didn't work in my car . Cost me over $4000 trying to get it to work . I am now putting a 1UZ with a 2.3L Whipple into a Rodeo and this will have an EMS 8860 because the guy doing most of the top end of the engine and who is helping me with the tune knows the EMS . Just don't rush into it and try to talk to as many guys you can to see what there running and what problems they have had.

Not sure as yet Peter , I have 2 Rodeo's both are TF but one is 1998 V6 and other is 1995 2.6L , both 2x4 . The 1995 is the better to do as far as getting it low to the ground and looking ok but harder to do when it comes to fitting the engine/sump , hand brake and a few other bits . I was going to put my almost ready 1UZ forged engine into the my Black 1994 UZZ32 but didn't want to hurt that car so that engine will go into one of the Rodeo's . I have just finished putting a 1UZ together for the Black 32 , put a set of rings in with a chrome top ring and my heads that I ported a few years ago are on it with better valves springs and a new set of Kelford cams , it will also have a 2.3L Whipple , I need my head checked doing two blown 1UZ's at the same time lol.
