Currently sitting at 350whp and 500ft-lb of torque non-intercooled. Next step is to get both a top mount intercooler, and water/meth setup so I can bring some timing back.
Factory DBW is absolutely horrible. They have so much input filtering and smoothing that yes, they are not responsive at all.
In the aftermarket world, this is definitely not the case. You can even change the response curve of the pedal to the throttle to be anything you like really..
Ok, I'm going to have very similar setup like your (Magnuson TVS2300) thinking going with Ross 8 rib damper including upgrading all pulleys to 8 rib. Also will use Elate inter-cooled manifold on stock '93 1UZFE
