When I slam my foot down the revs will go up as normal but soon as i am in like 3rd gear it goes funny around 3000k mark, like it pauses for like two seconds then goes up as normal.
When am doing about a 100km/h and hit over drive, I feel the pausing around the 3k mark.
when i turn off overdrive the revs will go down as expected, jump a lil, then go to its normal point.
However if i drive normally (not heavy foot)everything seems fine and normal, dont notice a thing
Ive did some searching and found a thread similar, talked about transmission solenoid, tps, oxygen sensors, but not too sure. If any one can diagnose please let me know

i have a similar problem, it only happens to me when cold and only happens the first time a give it more than about 1/4 throttle, if i give it about 1/2 throttle it will either backfire thru the exhaust or take off

There are a few threads similar to this its worth digging through the list becuase i had a similar problem at one stage with the revs hitting a wall around 4000rpm.
When you say it pauses does it die off or just sit still right on 3000?
