Well, finally picked up the 2.5 TT Soarer goodness, drover her home ready for rego tomorrow morning, she's been safety certified, all I need is CTP and Rego.
Anyways, get it home, a good few hours drive, park it, instal the Japanese FM expander module to get the Australian radio stations, and the car is sensational.
After a few hours of playing and moving around the carpark, I noticed the power steering sounding REALLY loud, so I checked the fluid levels and she was quite low.
I went down to the servo, got some DEXRON III and filled her up, the noise went away.
While moving it around the carpark some more (cant drive it on the roads till tomorrow), I noticed it leaking the power steering fluid.
I have found the fluid leaking from 2 pin-holes located on the upper thick (almost an inch thick)hose, but noticed this hose crimps onto it's fittings, it doesn't screw or otherwise easily alter it's fittings.
My question, obviously is hour the hell am I going to fix this bloody thing, oil leaking is not only dangerous to my power steering system drying up, but others on the road that could slip in my oil.
I cant really get a good photo as the light is bloody difficult, but it's a 1 inch pipe that crimps onto the power steering pump, and seems to feed down under the car.
Would Enzed be someone I could call to replace and re-crimp this piping, as it looks like the pipe will need to be specially crimped back on.

all fixed, a temp solution was to clean the pipe, use a puncture repair patch, a strip of rubber and a worm clamp to lock it off, this held the fluid in nicely to drive all around and get the rego sorted, then drive to Pirtek and get new fittings for $200, all sweet, and time to enjoy the car.
BTW,I found nothing in search relating to the pipe and leak I had after 20 minutes, so I gave up and posted.

To let everyone know, 400kms travel, and lots of steering later, and the car's 100% and very sweet.
I also spoke to Pirtek Mascot yesterday afternoon to thank them for their quick and efficient help on my issue, and they asked if I was a member of any clubs with the car.
I told them I recently joined up with Soarer Central, which is a club for lexus/toyota soarer owners and he said to let you guys know that if you come in an mention your with the club, they will be able to do a decent deal.
With mine, they shaved the GST off the price for me, and as I struggled to remove the faulty part on the car in the carpark, they came out every 15 - 20 minutes to make sure I wasn't having issues, they loaned me some tools when I realised I didn't have large enough sockets, and when I needed a break-bar to crack 2 of the slightly tighter bolts, and they where more than friendly and easy to deal with.
When they replaced the broken segment of pipe that was leaking, they also fitted 2 joiner segments, turning the pipe from a 1 section piece from power steering to the driver's side rack into a 3 segment section that went powersteering to lower rail connection, which went across the bottom of the car, and connected to the remaining bit which connected to the steering rack.
Anyways, this 3 segment modification made it 100% easier to re-install, and also means in the future if something dies, it will only be a small job to remove it.
Anyway, very happy with the results, and I would highly recommend Pirtek Mascot.
