i have a simular problem and put it down to heat. i left my 91tt in the sun all day where i was doing some training and when i got back i'd start her up (insinde was bakeing) and the o/d would flash and send up a red warning. turn on the fans for 20 sec to move the hot air and volah all better. mabyt the circuit has some thermal overloads in it????

just ran a diagnostic check bridged TE1 and E1

and i got 7 flashes pause for two seconds then another 6 flashes and it kept reapting

i looked at the tranny diagnotic chart but couldent pin point what is wrong

baybe you guys understand it better (i hope)

Maybe it's the other way around? code 67 is something to do with O/D

Kevin,

Had a very similar problem last week, the O/D would flash when the ECT was enabled and got the ECT error message on the dash. Turned out to be I was earthing something that didnt need to be earthed. If you have been fiddling with anything of late (thats how I did it), then more than likely thats something is earthed that shouldnt be earthed. Have a look around the usual earth points and you may just find whats going wrong.

so i have the same blinking pattern as no.67 O/D direct clutch speed sensor

so does that mean mines stuffed?
what should i do?
