Spark Plugs Removal Soarer 3.0L
My Soarer 3.0L automatic soon will be 120K miles and it will be ready for another change of platinum spark plugs. I would like to do this job myself but I was told that the last 2 spark plugs near the firewall are a pain in the neck to replace.
Could someone give me some insight into this? Somebody told me that the Throttle Body has to be removed fully in order to gain access to these 2 spark plugs and also the coolant has to be drained. Giving a look at this part of the engine compartment it looks cumbersome; many hoses, bolts, nuts and sensors in addition to the accelerator cable, and other cables. Do I need to do it as advised or is there a short cut to this? Could some one give some summary of a procedure to follow? Especially by those who indeed have removed the 6 spark plugs in this Soarer's model.
