After fitting a Front Mount to the car, and after having to bend and re-arrange the P/S lines, i took the car for a drive.
Straight away really loud grinding noises coming from the power steering side of the engine bay (1JZ), after a little longer drive (noises getting louder) and a hissing sound as i'm going along, i popped the hood, only to realise there was power steering fluid everywhere on the right side of the engine bay.
The fluid was coming out of the little tank where you fill it up, the lines do not appear to have anything wrong with them and the power steering pump was noisy sounding like a high pitch grinding noise.
The car makes really load grinding noises when turning, (especially at low speeds) and you can feal the vibrations from the cabin and through the pedal.
Please tell me it just needs a flush, as i cannot get to my mechanic with the car like is is.

I changed the steering oil in my car but do not remember a similar experience. I followed the procedure given by the shop manual:
1.Raise the front of the car (jack up front of vehicle and support it with stands). 2.Put plenty of kitchen roll or a towel to protect the drive belt, and A/C compressor. 3.Remove fluid from the oil container (you may use a turkey Baster or an extractor) 4.With pliers pulls the return hose clamp gently off. It will need a bit of force. Remove the return hose from the oil reservoir and drain fluid into a graduated small plastic container (1/2 litre). 5.Turn steering wheel from lock to lock while draining fluid (Engine off). 6.Fill oil reservoir with fresh fluid (Toyota ATF type-IV). Use a funnel with flexi spout. Use a rubber stopper (8 mm) or a rubber plug to cover up the oil reservoir tip. Start engine and run it at 1,000 rpm one or two seconds and stop engine immediately. Take care that some fluid remains left in the oil reservoir. 7.Go to step 5 and 6 four or five times until there is no more air in the fluid. (This is to say that the fluid is not red foamy or red cloudy). 8.Take the rubber stopper or the rubber plug off the reservoir tip and then connect the return hose to the oil reservoir. 9.Bleed the power steering system.
The only bad experience was that I forgot to take the rubber stopper off before I connected the hose to the reservoir. The result was oil everywhere in the engine compartment and the walls of my house when I started the engine.
