Hi - we're fitting a Cs charger onto a V8 in the UK, and hit a snag as its actuator is dud.

There's a thread on the TIF site showing the faulty part:
http://www.toyotaimportsforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7102

Can anyone recommend a similar replacement part - new or s/h ?

Thanks in advance from the UK

Cheers Ben - have done.

Does anyone have contact details for Andy Richardson, who's built his own supercharger on a 32 ?

You can fit a solenoid valve in place of that actuator and control the boost with a turbo boost controller. Works very well and gives you controllable boost bypass with the C's setup.

Cheers Mark - have passed that idea on. Al's blown V8 hit the road yesterday using an actuator from another car- pulls like a train ;-) - should have some figures in a couple of weeks. Special thanks to Smiffie & Ellis at the SSS in London (UK) for a great job
