Yes its easy I have done it without removing anything. just pull up on radiator top hose to get a socket (preferably long handle) on the tensioner and lever it to remove the tension on the belt, the rest is straight forward remove and refit new belt and you only need to lever at the last moment of fitting the new belt.

Look under the inside of your bonnet, you should find a little picture of how it fits over all the pullies. If not, draw a picture of the old one before you take it off.

AHhh rite O Shaun, wellz, it just so happens that the fan belt was done by the mechanic today. Charged me $70 for the belt and fitting. I was going to do it myself, but there was some miscommunication between me and the mechanic. Ah wellz. Now that its replaced, I don't have to worry about it.
