Finished work Friday to find radiator was bone dry as it had leaked out during the day. Filled with water and could see it coming out from under the car at a steady drip. Stop halfway home to check, still dripping. Stopped at pub(as you do) for 1 hour, no loss of anything in that time. She stayed in garage for the rest of weekend, no more dripping and hasn't lost anymore since then. Got me buggared!

Kate, maybe check the drain tap at the bottom of the radiator. Mine started a slow drip for no good reason, removed it, wiped the rubber ring clean and it's been fine ever since.

It must be Fridays...no drips all week, until I got home today...when I turned off the engine, I could hear a hissing sound of like water boiling, made a few more noises and then, whooshka...coolant comes out not just in a single drip but multiple drips coming from all over the place. The heat register in dashboard says the temp is good all the way home...She is going in on Monday, so he will work it out...but geeezzz...bloody gremlins!!!!!

Kate, i'm also losing a little water at the moment, so your not the only one. looks to me like i'm getting some stains on the exhaust manifold, so I suspect it might be a hose to the turbo. Haven't been able to spot any drips yet. But very very slow loss of water. May be time to change all the heat susceptible rubber hoses on our cars to ensure longevity of the engines.

Yes Michael, makes sense... you just sparked my memory of a slight burning smell as well this afternoon, probably the hoses frying...she will stay in the garage until she goes to Neil. Better get yours done soon before she gets worse. haha, I am distracted by the eye candy in lime green, I don't remember my pic being taken hehehehehe.
