Whenever I start my V8 from cold it splutters for about 2 seconds and it's driving me crazy!!! Could it be a fuel, back pressure or ECU problem?? Would an ECU reset help?? ANy help will be greatly appreciated.

ECU reset won't hurt, that's for sure.

Could be some leaky injectors dribbling some fuel while engine is off...running too rich for a few seconds??

Or, the start of fuel pump ECU problems possibly?

Yeah, I've got the same problem.
It comes and goes.

Pretty sure its nothing you've mentioned though, as when its warm, it starts pretty much without touching the key.

Just did a reset and the prob is still there. If it was running rich for a few seconds, I would've thought it would blow abit of black smoke as it cleared itself............. The hunt continues!!!
