When I had the shift kit done, the guys had advertisements all over the place for this thing called Vaporate - alledgedly only 70% of the fuel you put in the tank gets burned up, this thing is a collar for the fuel injector I think and it alledgedly makes use of 100% of the fuel instead - about 600 something bucks from memory, don't know if its any good tho

Stephen, the Vaporate could work. Some cars come with injectors that dont atomise/break up the fuel properly. By heating the ends, the fuels more likely to be a vapour and you can extract more energy from the same amount of fuel.
On new cars like the mitsubishi 380 etc, with something like 6 holes per injector, it would have little effect.

Benny, it wont be anything but a capacitor. Just an energy buffer.. what elese could it be. It stores upto 15v (alternator outputs about 14.4) and discharges if there is a usage spike.
Ignition wont benefit unless there is a problem to begin with. Could be good for amps, thats why people buy such large capacitors and wire them between the battery and their amplifiers.
