pathetic, dealership...
i went there about an hour ago, to enquire about coolant...'dunno', dimwit says...'we dont do imports..'
'wow', i said...'lots of pissed off corolla drivers around then eh?'...
'ok..just give me a number, or code, so i can go to autobarn, and make sure the stuff i buy is conforming with toyota recommendations'...
'sorry mate'...we dont do grey imports'...
getting pissed off now...'then why, dickhead, do you have a 1991 ltd soarer in the car yard, for sale?...whats gonna happen if the bloke who buys it wants coolant?'...
he shrugs...'dunno'...
i just emailed toyota australia, and vented my spleen to them about this pathetic excuse of a representative of theirs...hope the joint burns down, and goes broke....pricks!...

you live in a town where 90% of the population drives ute's, not cars like the soarer...
People are afraid of what they don't know, and then there are those who just dont want to know. Either way, neither is worth crying over, just put a black mark against their name and never go back.

im not crying over it....but youre right...aint worth the hassle...i think i know what is is tho...
several weeks ago, they traded a '91 ltd on a ne BMW...i took it for a test drive, and it was horrible...clunky, jerky, temperamental sack of crap, it was...anyway, i offered them 9k for it(had $13,888) on the window...maybe the offer pissed them off...
yesterday, it was back in the yard, after a couple of weeks absence, and its got a big 'RACV tested' sticker on it...AND $14,999....i laughed at it this morning...

Congrats on the purchase Ross. It's lookin' good.
Perfect paintwork by the looks of things.
About the Toyota dealer... is it always the same helpful bloke working there? Maybe go back another day and see if the guy was just looking for an excuse to do no work?
Worth a try, THEN!!! If the other staff member is more helpful, complain directly to his boss

rofl, working on saturday mornings :<
Thank god the place a work at atm is a not open saturday mornings, however when i used to work saturday mornings at another job i was pissed off every second i was there, customer service my ass!
However having said that, the noob behind said parts desk is a loser. I work parts at my work (machinery shop so we get all kinds) and its "usually" not that hard to either ask someone alittle more experienced or do some research yourself.
Sure its not really a big deal because we have "ALSC/Soarer Central" but that guy probablly doesn't do much good for the Toyota name in other situations either.
