i have been trying around to find someone that could replace it. Pirtek (as mentioned by previous threads) couldnt help me or make one up to be the same. Is it some big pirtek store or something I need to goto? or can i just get the same size hose without the elbow and put it in?

Same size hose will do mate. Bought 2 meters of the stuff the other week to re route the power steering lines. Most automotive stores should have power steering hoses in stock. (repco, auto one...)

ah ok then, I thought it needed to be with the elbow and non bendable, because I thought it might cause some problems if it gets a kink or bends abit and loses presure. Ill just make sure i get some nice tight clamps for it.

That isn't a high pressure line anyway mate. Just get an oil resistant hose, where abouts are you in w.a. I manage an ENZED shop around Mandurah, I can give you the hose you need not a problem, let me know.

If you have problems with kinks in the hose that you bought, a trick is to get a hose clamp and clamp down on the kink just enough to make the hose round again, I wouldn't go making the hose too much longer than the one that was removed.
Also make sure that you fcuk off those old clamps and buy some new ones. Once those ones have been on for a while the loose all their strength.
