Hey all, I just sold my 97 Skyline GTST so pay off some debts and have come across a cheap JZZ30 Soarer problem is its got 227k on the odometer.

What should i pay attention to with these sort of kms and how do they fare with these sort of kms?

i would be making sure the turbos have been overhauled or replaced. check the radiator tanks, all bushes etc.

I agree with Adrain, engine should hold out for 100000000000kms as long as the cooling system oil ect has been kept at 100%

Although the turbo's wont last that long. look for smoke ect out of the exhaust, usually a sign that the turbos are bit crook

Mine has 270,000kms and the only engine problem i have is that the Valve seals are a tad worn and i get smoke on start up sometimes, and its not that much of a engine problem anyway.

But yeah just make sure you buy a well looked after car and you should be right.
