Hey guys.

There's this strange whining noise coming from the front end while stationary. I can feel a slight vibration through the steering wheel, but it doesn't stop or get worse when turning the wheel.

It kinda feels/sounds a little like when the power steering fluid would be low and you turn the wheel, but PS fluid is full.
It doesn't seem to do it once moving, or it could be that I just can't hear it when moving?

It's starting to annoy me a little bit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

If it's a noisy pulley bearing you can sometimes figure out which one while the engine's running by placing a (long) screwdriver on the component (not the pulley, obviously) and placing your ear on the handle. It acts like a stethoscope and you can check each component to figure out which one is making all the noise.

My PS pump makes a bit of noise so I'm looking to change the bearing in it.
