I read a mag the other day that had a bmw with a 10 psi super charger on a soarer motor am i correct that your one has 7 psi? And what would you need to do to your kit to get the extra psi? I have recently changed my mind about doing up my car so would like to know the diff.

I beleive the BMW is running the Sprintex/Bullit engine. To get 10 PSI with Neil's kit is easy....just change the drive pulley (easy to do; it doesn't need the special puller like an original M90). There's not much point though unless you can intercool it....that's why the boost is 7 PSI. At 10 PSI or more it's probably more efficient to run a twin-screw blower. I think he BMW is using a Commdore intercooler adapter and front mount (adapter for 6 cyl supercharged Commodore). You won't fit that setup under the Soarer bonnet. I'm having a custom bonnet made.....

Don't tell anyone but I drive a VY Supercharged commondore S. while my soarer sleeps in the garage. Its a fraction better then plain 3.8 but its no heart stopper, pretty disappointing actually.

I know Lars..its very sad even the bloody so called sports suspension FE2 (stands for Friken Excrement Too... I guess) is just hard and bumpy. I can throw my plain GT around the round about and she goes with hardly any roll. Do the same with dunnydore with fe2 and it feels like she will roll 8 times.

Thanks Jeff, so its got only half of FE2, why don't they call it FE1 then? Cheap bastards at Holden!! She does sit a bit high, very high compering to ss. screw it then, going to update to ss next year.
