Hey everybody, I posted this in the WTB section already but I thought I'd get a quicker response here. Basically I'm looking for a replacement radiator top tank as mine has developed a crack and is leaking a bit of coolant. I've spoken to a few radiator places and so far all they've been able to come up with is a replacement top tank for the supra.
As far as I know the '92 Supra has a 1JZ engine also, so I'm assuming that the replacement top tank for a supra will also be suitable for my TT? Can someone please confirm this for me asap, as I've got a country trip coming up this weekend and I want to replace the top tank before then.

Hang in there Thomas, I am looking it up now.
Edit: Sorry, but my parts list does not cover the '92 Supra. It starts with the '93 with the 2JZGTE engine. Part 16441-46090 is listed as suitable for the 1JZGTE and 2JZGE in the JZZ30 Soarer. It sounds promising that it is the same as a 1JZ Supra but I can not unearth the real evidence. Have you tried asking Toyota?

HI Thomas I had my top tank replace by Nat Rad. All up about $200.00-250.00 that's take out and re-fit new coolant and all and that was toyota coolant as well.

cheers for that David and Craig. For the tank itself its only $95 (for the supra one). I'll probably remove and refit it myself with the aide of my mechanic who is a good family friend.
I will give Salisbury toyota a call tomorrow and see what they say.
