So my heater hasn't been working for quite some time. It just blows cool air. I put this down to a dead heater core and decided to live with it, rather than paying ridiculous amounts of $$$ for labour.
Poking around under the bonnet while fitting my intercooler a few weeks ago, I notice this.
I THINK its a heater hose?
Do I have a blockage somewhere? How would I go about fixing it?
Kinda hoping its related to me heater not working, even though warm weather is coming, and I don't really drive the car much anymore. But it would be nice to have back.

If you are talking about that pink crap that looks like a leak then yes that is a heater hose. I have just pulled all that crap out of the track car. The heater core wasn't that hard to get to, but alas I broke the hose off the top of mine. The brass is pretty fragile.
As to fixing it, I dunno, pull a hose off and turn the motor over. If you have coolant flow then it is blocked further down the line. It could also be the valve in the picture. I think it is called a VSV and it controls the coolant flow through the heater core.
