well my tentionor pully barring is stuffed, so took it off to replace but cant get the barring off
my question is does the barring come out?
or do i have to replace the whole pully?

i tried knocking it out with a socket the same size but no go
is there only one way it goes in and out?

what do i do
thanks guys in advanced

Put the side facing the camera down on the ground(concrete) with a rag under to protect pulley and with a socket a bit smaller than hole on top side, smack hard with a rubber mallet or equivalent. Should do the trick. Got a walkthru on old ALSC site under changing serpentine belt. Do a search if need be.

There are two types of pulleys used on 1JZ-GTEs - one made of metal and one made of plastic like you've pictured.
Unfortunately, the pulley is moulded to the bearing on the plastic one and you can't replace the bearing in that type, only the metal one allows it to be pressed out and in without damage...
