ok, i have an auto jzz30 with a single turbo setup installed and front mount exhaust etc, stock engine + gbox at moment. i am getting a very bad sounding vibration at around 100 kph when going up slight hills, has done it at lower speeds lately too, doesnt matter if on boost or not seems to be revs related cause if i back off it goes away, still boosts, if give it a boot it will also go away for a bit, only does it prob once every 5-10 mins on highway and occasionally on streets, not always there.
new plugs and filters and also trans fluid just done. was wonderin if anyone else has had this problem, if not any possibilities?? doesnt sound nice.... or cheap!! giving me the willies!! so to speak.. please help!!!

I'd be checking your engine, gearbox mounts. Another member on here,Mark Paddick, also has talked about the lock up clutch in the gearbox, causing vibrations. I found some old info on it...

engine mounts.. easy to check... same thing was happening to mine. Found that that they had totally broken in half (the rubber)and entire engine had shifted forwards, pulling the driveshaft with it.. vibrations all round!. especially under acceleration and when stopped at traffic lights.

Ive been in a 1JZ with a wibration/tapping coming from the engine.. It was a conrod bearing or something along those lines.

Needless to say, it drove fine, and occasionally it went tatatatatatatata. Went hard for a rooted engine 18psi does many nice things. Lack of servicing and detonation would have been what killed it.

Your situation sounds different, i think these guys may have hit the spot by suggesting the engine mounts.
