my steering works fine, but makes quite alot of noise at times.

first i thought air, and the fliud lid was not sealing well, so i made a thicker gasket for the lid and that seemed to help.

but soon after i get the whiring back and it just gets louder, last night i checked the fluid after it got to its loudest so far and it looked like a bubble bath in there, fitted the lid tightly and no noise for the rest of the drive home, started car this morning and noise again...

i found the leak this morning, it only leaks oil out when i turn car off (tested a few times), so im assuming its pulling air in when on? how do i fix this is there a gasket or o-ring? or is the problem more sinister?

thanks in advance,
Marc
