first post here, but been reading over the forum for a while, great to be part of it just bought my first soarer about a week ago just noticed one of the injectors have developed a lot louder ticking noise then normal, is this a sign its just about had it? any advice would be great thanks

Hi Brandon, and to the ALSC.
I'm a V8 owner, and unfortunately haven't a clue re the injectors, but as you know there's a LOT of knowledge here, so it won't be long before a Guru or two pops along with an answer.

yeah mate, as ive seen in other threads i have to mention that at idle it seems to be running really rough since the ticking started, like one cylinder isnt firing, but only at idle. with a little bit of throttle, the ticking is still there and raises with rpm, but the motor doesnt miss a beat, only at idle. i leaned over to listen and the noise is definatly coming from either injector 3 or 4. thanks again
