Hey to all. Just a quick question. would a broken air flow meter or maf cause my soarer to overheat ?

to run rich/poorly maybe..

i don't think it should overheat.

also no AFM afaik. should be map

well the motor isnt getting enought of something cos it takes like 10mins just to get to like 100kms per hour :-( i can only press the accelerator a little bit or it coughs and splutters and looses power : /

unplug the maf and see if it helps any.

Also aiden the UZZ soarers with 1UZs do have MAF not map

not you afm,

coilpacks leads dizzy plugs etc...

my car makes more power with the afm unplugged and accelerated quicker (as tested by iphone app) lol

If there is a problem with the Airflow meter causing the car to run lean the engine can overheat.
