theres only 1 swaybar on the rear and 1 in the front, they connect from each lower arm to counteract the forces when you corner.
If its bent the swaybar mate, its very very likely its bent the toe rod, either upper or lower control arm or a strut mate. Swaybar is last thing you would expect to bend as its not rigidly mounted to the control arms.
When i first got my soarer i clipped a gutter on the RHS rear wheel, bent the buggery out of my toe rod which i replaced and everythingh else is 100%

ok so the best thing to do would be to take it to a mechanic and find out what needs replacing and then look around on the forums for the parts needed, correct?

ouch dude that car is in a lot of pain LOL
no need for a suspension specialist any mechanic can do the work...
but your going to need to do some leg work, there is a lot of bent stuff there and bits are going to be a pita to find
its all pretty straight forward something you can do in the drive way if you own some reasonable tools and can turn them, if not just drop it off at nearest mechanic along with $1500 and pick up when done
i live in preston and have no recommendations for a workshop, i used to use pro-tek but they disappeared Dom was pretty good with me when i used to take my s/c'd magna there...
start ringing some wreckers, i had to wait 6 weeks for a rear suspension arm then i got the wrong one sent to me.... pain in the arse

im not very mechanically smart so i may need some help. im not sure what parts would be needed to be replaced. as you live close by, would you be able to come round some time and help me identify what parts would need to be replaced andrew?

Centreline suspension is the best suspension specialist in the Northern suburbs. They are in Thomastown and usually require you to book a few days in advance.

I've got 3x Soarer Rear ends for parts etc and can provide fitting / install in Williamstown this week from Tuesday onwards. I can get the car ready by Wednesday arvo if it is dropped off Monday/Tuesday morning.
Looks like at best, you have bent the following: Sway Bar + Links, Toe and Traction Rods and the drive shaft looks a bit fscked and may a have a damaged CV joint. Chassis mounts look to be OK from the photos.
At minimum, you will need to replace the above parts and have the rear end wheel aligned. At worst - complete rear subframe and diff swap due do damaged CV Joints, Wheel Bearings, bent hub and so forth. It would be cheaper to replace a diff cradle and get it wheel aligned if the damage is more then just the control arms.
