Found this spring sitting in my drivers footwell this morning. Must have fallen from up under the dash and was just sitting on the floor.
Its about the size of an index finger, with a rubber dampener in the middle (guessing to take out vibrations)
I guess its from either the brake pedal or accelerator pedal. They both still feel fine to press and return fine too.
Before I climb under the dash and spend an hour looking for where it came from, can anyone give me some clues?

Looks like the spring from the back of the glovebox, but im thinking that the glovebox spring was a little bit bigger.

Pop it and see

Yeah I think the glove box spring is longer but narrower. This one is quite thick and strong. about the size of my index finger. And it was in the drivers footwell. not passengers.

Daniel,
the spring is either off the throttle or the brake pedal, my guess is probably the throttle.

Thanks Daryl,
Hopefully I find some time this weekend to take the trim off and have a look. Both pedals still feel the same though.

No Problem Daniel.

You probably haven't seen me around the heliport for the last 3 months. Jen & I have been travelling around the world and are presently in Seattle about to travel to Las Vegas with my cousin in his motorhome.
Will catch up when we get home in November.

Ahh ok then. you probably wont be replying to the email I sent you on the esso system then?!

I'll PM you instead.

Oh and problem solved! the spring was from the brake pedal. Attached to the side of the pin (there is a groove for it) and to a little bracket next to the steering column.
