First of all, I'v made plenty of references to
http://www.planetsoarer.com/Power%20steering%20pump.htm and http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/steering/.

Most of it has been insightful. However, I'v bumped into a problem. The banjo bolt refuses to budge. The only movement allowed when I rotate the banjo nut is the bolt above it and the high pressure pipe which is sandwiched between the banjo nut and the bolt.

I am open to verbal or physical assistance!

In addition, whats a recommended way to remove the mounting bolts for the PS pump. I'v removed the battery but the fuse box is taking up some space as well. There doesnt seem to be any space for the wrench to turn.

A matter of patience and some courage in my case.
With the exception of oil/plug changes, removing a part from the engine bay's a new experience.

Anyway Peter, I gave the breaker bar more leverage to break the banjo nut free. Was afraid of breaking something earlier on. No risk no glory i guess.

As for the mounting bolts, I looked at the wrong place. Mistook the bracket bolt for them.

Great experience overall! No more stiff steering and moans. At the price of scrapped knuckles and running around hunting for hoses.

Repco says no, toyota says i'm expensive, pirtek says welcome!
