Hey guys i just brought my soarer a few months ago got a bargain for it i am so happy with it just the only thing is that the welch plugs have just gone i was just wondering if any one could help me would it be easier to take the engine out and fix them or is there any other way i want to do it as quickly as possible just wanna get it back on the road Thanks Jesse

it might be easier to take it out?
do you know how to do your own welch plugs? not sure how much room you'll have to get at them with the engine still in the car with everything attached and in your road.

Hey thanks but i was really trying to avoid taking out the engines as i just do not have the time yeah i no how to do the welch plugs just trying to find another way as you do not have any room between the firewall and the engine and your right the is alot of hoses and cables thanks

yeah and by the time you tear everything off and make up a few new swear words in the process from broken hoses, clamps etc you'll wish you had just taken the engine out?

hey shane yeah im guessing alot of swear words in the process hahah but umm yeah i stuck a mirror taped to a stick underneath the bottom of the car and both of them have a crack right threw the middle of them so yeah

hi jesse, just a thought that if they were well cleaned and filled with "jb weld". (the plugs are normally like a cup) it may be enough to make a good seal. These products are very strong.
