You could Anish, but we're not dealing with a crappy Holden dung-box here.
MY recommendation would be to purchase a GENUINE new Toyota one, as it's been proven by Peter Scott that they have superior flow qualities to even "Name Brand" after market filters
Toyota part number is: 17801-46060
ps: 15000 kms ain't to bad a run for an air filter

Thanks guys. The filter in the car at the moment is a genuine part. Should have said toyota genuine rather than OEM.
Will pick up another one when the dealerships open back up.
I checked it a few weeks ago before we started to get a lot of rain here. Was a lot cleaner than it is now. The moisture in the air must have turned the dust on the filter to mud.
Looks like I'll be getting a new filter every 6 months.

Just checked my air filter today - it's really dirty & needs replacing. How much from toyota & do they carry them in stock.
I'm going to make BFI #1 on my Soarer soon with the help from some mates. It's a UZZ31 - what's meant by the second and third chambers to get more air into the air box? I assume I just remove the headlight & remove the restrictive air duct?
