i had a small accident and got hit in the rear and i can only open the boot when i turn the key hold it in the open poistion and lift it, it no longer pops up. therefor the release no longer works either even if one you hold it open while lifting boot.
now i've gone and locked the keys in the boot, and stupid me! i do not have a sparekey...
now im stuck at work... NRMA are on their way but im not sure if they can do anything? any helpful advise???

Trying to make sense of your post.

What you are saying is that the inside release doesn't work even if someone tries to open the boot while you pull the release button?

If so, sounds like you are stuffed. :-(

Paranoia about such incidents means I always put my key in my pocket after opening the boot and check it is there before I close the boot again. Not that this will help you unfortunately :-(

Hope that, while the cabin release is being operated, the NRMA can prise it open without causing damage.

My paranoia has been similar to Pen's ever since I left the car in the middle of a Canberra carpark for three hours with the key sitting quietly in the boot lock. I was perhaps fortunate that there were no other keys attached to it to make it more obvious.

A locksmith will sort the lock while you lift the lid!

alll sorted guys
if your ever in the same situation:
pull the rear parcel shelf off, there you have two holes where you can push the panel behind the fuel tank off, then all you need is a hook to get the keys.
only took me about 2hrs to figure out though...
