The leak may not be from the radiator. Find the leak first. Could be any number of hoses etc. Most radiator places will repair a radiator, complete clean, pressure test and respray in a day or two, so why buy another one?

The top tank of the radiator is a little reknowned for cracking - and mine did so within about 5,000 kms of me owning it. The crack was ever so fine - very difficult to see, but was located on the bit of plastic in front of where the main radiator hose goes back toward the engine.
IIRC, the top tank cost me about ~$150 from Bill Buckle Toyota in Brookvale (they had to get it shipped up from Melbourne though, as they didn't have any in stock). I also got the closest radiator repair shop (which was three doors down) to replace it for me, which cost another $200. They said they could have done the whole thing for around $300, but I'm not sure that I believe them. They also used crappy green coolant, which I wasn't too happy about either, but a radiator flush later, it was all good.

SHOP AROUND!!! I got my top tank replaced (I took the radiator out for them) for just $148 all up, tank and labour. Although that was about 2 years ago now, but surely it couldn't have gone up that much by then?!?

Ben, who in Adelaide did the job for you? Handy for future reference. Why dont we make a list of Soarer freindly repairers that do radiators and the like? do it per capitol city. Would save half of the posts asking questions.

What Ben said.burtons radiators broadmeadow supply and fit top tank for 220 all up.OEM quality .I r&r'd the radiator and used volvo coolant(green by the way).
I'll have to dig around for the place's name again, I just remember that it was in Lonsdale somewhere. BTW I had my pump die about 18 months ago and it was spitting coolant all over the rocker cover and the bonnet lining, so Dragan, the pump might have to be on top of your to check list. The best thing I have found about using Toyota coolant (red) is taht when it dries it goes a crusty brown, making it stick out like dogs balls in the engine bay, very easy to trace problems!
