Woo, NVH city. If you don't mind every noise and vibration of the engine being sent throughout the car then these will be great.

Dan, you have tried them?

Considering how smooth the 1UZ is I think the NVH would be minimal and they are not a solid mount and poly still has good vibration absorbency... I would not mind hearing a little more V8 in the cabin, I think the 275/35R18 tires all round will still drown out any engine NVH anyway!

I might be interested in these.

Reducing the amount the engine moves would be a good thing in my case and I think I could live with the additional NVH.

One of the reasons the v8 is so smooth ,is the engine mounts are oil filled. The engine is floating on compressed oil. I understand the extra power with a s/c does strain them ,how about new Toyota mounts and a stabilizer bar like on the Toyota 1mz-fe v6.

I have experienced similar ones on a Turbo soarer. Fine for a track hack, you certainly wouldn't want them on a long trip.

I'd suggest an engine torque damper. This will take the torque load off the engine mounts, but still retain the soft cushy mounts for nice NVH.

Dave: Oil does not compress, the rubber flex's around it

Dan: link to similar ones?

Allan oil does compress however it is normally so little that it is regarded as non compressible. but in a large hydraulic system it has to be allowed for.

cheers matt

How much heat can these polyurethane mounts handle?

Wont the exhaust heat from the exhaust manifolds above the engine mount position effect the material?

good point Allan but just thought that it should be made clear. i can only imagine that the poly will handle higher temps than the rubber however a heat shield as found in the factory mounts would be cheep prevention.

dan: with the two mounting points they would be approximatly twice as stiff as the whiteline ones...

Old thread I know but I brought a set of these for my uzz30 project. At this stage I haven't used them as the test fit didn't.
To use them either they will require modification or the upper alloy engine mounts will need to be made wider. I'm trying the Megan ones first.
