I had a problem with my fuel gauge reading when I used E85, actually ran out of fuel on the M2 at night with 2 kids in the car.......I've used only 95 or 98 since and the gauge is accurate as can be.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay but I had to be sure.
after further research I consulted my brother who has borrow the car a few days before the issue started/.
Turns out he put "at least" 30 L of e85 (got might have even been blended e10 cos he is cheap as This screwed everything up ... after doing all the fills/metho/swaps and constantly topping up it turns out that I was at 60+ litres and this caused my gauge to go mental as well.
Anyway - I put a jerry can in the car and have driven it for 300+ks now.
Is sitting on 23 L's now and is behaving normally. (has since 40L)
I am now confident the issue is resolved. Thanks for all you help!
