I want to figure out which of my 6 coils is fried. Is there an easy way to test them to find out which one is bad? This way I wont have to replace all 6!! :-)

Without special instruments there is no easy way, have a known good spare, keep swapping them in until you find the bad one of the batch.

easy...

1 take off the coil over plastic cover thing (think its 6 or 8 hex head bolts).

2 with the car idling. unplug first coil via its little clip thing, car revs should drop and get lumpier.

3 replace plug car should rev better.

4 repeat process on all 6 coil packs. if you suspect one is gone when you unplug it nothing will change.

other then that you can just rip them out and have a visual inspection of them and the spark plugs

Testing with multimeter won't always reveal problems, When they heat up during operating is when defects show.

Also testing at idle is a good idea and yeah will work but won't reveal defective ones only failed ones.

boris, sure, a multi meter can confirm a coil is stuffed, but can not always confirm if it is ok at temp. An easy check that will sometimes(not always) find the fault.
