Just had the 2 1/4" central pipe replaced with 3" pipe and a resonator. When it was complied it was fitted with a third cat in the 2 1/4" length and not of the best quality either. The difference is certainly noticeable, especially in low to mid range. ( this is on the V8 ) The original cats are still in-situ.
