Hi, I'm looking to replace me engine and transmission mounts. From a search of the site I have the gearbox mount at approx $136 12371-50030 and engine mount at $185 each 123-50110. There was a suggestion Supra engine mounts were cheaper, but I think they only fit the TT. Is that correct? Castle Hill Toyota was recommended for parts. Method: - undo radiator shroud - undo nuts on top of mounts - undo nuts on bottom of mounts - lift engine with a jack through a block of wood under the sump
Can someone confirm those part numbers and the Supra question. Any other tips?

Murray, I've just purchased the trans mount and engine mounts from Castle Hill Toyota. Trans mount was about $105 and engine mounts were $150 each with $40 express shipping.
I'd still like to see/read some detailed instructions for replacing the V8 engine mounts before I attempt it though...the hardest part I can see is getting to the top bolts on the mounts???

Thanks Justin, those prices look good. I had a look at the mounts yesterday. The transmission mount looks easy, but there's not much room to swing a spanner on the engine mounts. When I get round to doing it (is Feb an expensive month or what - school fees, soccer rego for the kids, registering the Pajero = 464,000km!!!, renewing my driver's license etc), I'll take some photos and put up a 'How to', (unless someone beats me to it).
