It seems the TT takes a different water pump from the n/a 3.0 litre motor like ours. Does anyone know if the same water pump fits all years of 3.0 six and are they the same as the waterpumps on the sedans (GS300, Aristo etc)? I have searched the net and get a lot of different answers.

Further to my previous question, US catalogues list "10 fastener and "11 fastener" designs. Is this confusing or what? You wouldn't know what you had 'til you pulled the old one off. Are GS300 and Sc300 water pumps different?

Thanks, Don. I will have to figure out how to use the EPC
I had worked out that the TT pump was different- it has a separate feed for the turbos. I have come across a pump for the GS300 and wondered if it would fit- US sites have different numbers for the GS300 and SC300 water pumps which I find curious as they are the same motor (but there could be a good reason why). I also found the US sites have, as I mentioned, "10 fastener" and "11 fastener" types with no mention of different models.
Excuse my ignorance, but which part is the "coupling"? Is this the round bit one sees in some pics of water pumps?
