Question: When the butterfly is closed in the throttle body mine has a gap of approx. 1/2mm between the butterfly and the body. Is this correct or should it be completely sealed?

TB butterfly should be 100% sealed when closed.
Lots of the time they get gummed up and stick open. Other times the car starts behaving badly so owners adjust the stopper to open them up a little.
Clean the ISCV Clean the TB Reset the TB to be 100% closed. Readjust the TPS to read IDL at closed. Make sure there are NO leaks between the AFM and the plenum.

Thanks Andrew. I have cleaned ISCV and TB but how and where is the adjustment to close the butterfly so there is no gap? Mine has a gap all the way around the butterfly valves.
