Sorry guys, this is like my 4th thread in a week, but i really have no where else to turn. I was having a fiddle with my Coil pack power leads and the ignited plugs to try and get my Soarer running when i noticed (this is gonna be vague) a metal 'plate'/disk/thingee just to the above left of the big pully at the bottom of the serpintine belt (the one that has the "10 | | |||" markings on it)was moving around, rotating back and forth/clockwise then anticlockwise probably 4-5mm each way, the pully nearest to it is a bit wobbly as well (probably 1.5-2mm 'wobble'. Am i in trouble here or am i safe? Thanks in advance to anyone who can understand this question.

Yes thats the one Michael. The grey disk (the circular thing) beind the pulley with the small tab sticking out up and to the right (if you were looking straight at it). That little 'tab' Moves 'up' and 'down' (ie- anticlockwise then clockwise) about 5mm. The pully connected to that grey thing also looks like its loose, its shaking around, probably 1-2mm give side to side. I knew someone would be able to translate my jibberish.

The grey disk should move as that is how it works but the pully should be stable on the plate itself, also there should be a fair amount of force in the spring in the plate so that the belt is held tight at all times.
If it does seem a bit too weak or the pully has play in it's bearing then you might want to get it fixed, pretty sure you can just order the whole thing. A search or 2 on the words belt tensioner in the archives should get you more info on it
