I agree with Pen on the shift kit. Passengers normally don't like it. I'd suggest that if you have a gf you stop at 1.0 shift kit. The 1.5 may be too harsh for her (and even you). And Peter Scott is so right. I've got both (chip and 1.0 kit) but if I had to remove one if them it would be the kit.
Neil suggested I stopped with the 1.0 shift kit and I'm happy he did.

The tanks on all 30 series Soarers as far as I know is 78L.
Edit: Benny, my GF didn't like my shift kit at first, she said "Why would you pay $500+ to make it uncomfortable to drive?" But now she's used to it and doesn't complain... lucky for her :P haha
Eldin, you wont see any fuel improvement because you will be USING what the Unichip does. If you actually can get any improvement I don't know - or care.
I get 6 to 7 km/l (or around 15l/100k's) - all city driving with a semi-heavy foot.
EDIT: Morgan, you obviously trained her well...

A reminder to anyone planning a Unichip: decide what fuel you want to use for your car and make sure you have a tank of that, not mixed with anything else, when you get it tuned, then keep using it. I assume you will be using 98 if you are going the performance step. The car will still be safe enough on lower grades, it will just perform badly by comparison and be wasting the money you spent on the chip.
Exactly David. Go Unichip. All I'm saying is that I haven't been able to measure it on mine but I DO drive more spirited now than I did before. It's hard not to. - well at least I don't.
Dan, I'm not sure that's available yet. I tried to E-mail him in December about it. Never heard back. I have later been told that it's not quite ready yet. Maybe it's finished by now?

That's the good thing about Canberra hey David. Nice freeway drives for at least half your trip to and from work. ECU stays nice and crisp. And Dan, Lets not have any more talk of Nissans. They're not worthy of our time.

Yeah, initially I thought with a stage 1.5 shift kit it'd make my TT (without TRC) nearly impossible to drive in a wet safely, but I don't notice a difference, if you just put along cruising, it's perfectly fine.
No complaints here, just don't try to over-take people in the wet hehe.
