I am doing a mechanical engineering project on combustion modelling, and I am using a expensive piece of program called "Ricardo Wave" which is a computation fluid dynamics program that simulates engines.
Now, what I would like to do is to simulater a couple of toyota engines... 1jz 2jz and 1uz and then once the base model is done, you can change all differnt sorts of things, like manifold geometries, valve lift profiles, pretty much any mod, you can see the effect it has on torque and power output before without having to spend the big bucks.
The first plan of attack was to model the 1uz, as it could probably have the most info about it, plus there is no turbo to simulate.
So if anyone has a spare one lying around, or has any measurements to give me, please feel free to share the love and see what we can come up with.
