I just picked up my stereo:
Alpine MRV 1505:
950w x 1 RMS at 4 ohms and 14.4V

Alpine MRV F540
80w x 4 RMS at 4 ohms
100w x 4 RMS at 2 ohms

Alpine CDA 7995

Rockford Fosgate 1 Farad Power Cap

Subs are a sealed box with two Pioneer Premier 10's

Got it all through a friend, should be interesting once i get time to set it up.

Me thinks it might be a while. I have literally no time in my life right now. And there are a few things that i have to do the the soarer that take precedence for the moment. But eventually it will be all good.

You know once you get some more time on your hands that you need to rip apart the trunk and do some custom enclosures, right?

it just has to be done! I have a similar system myself, just waiting for the car haha. I too am an alpine fanboy

Yeah, for now i just have a couple pioneer premier TS-W1200C's
but eventually the kicker will be nice

I am more than happy with my jaycar response amps, they are the best sounding and most powerful units I have ever had in a car, especially considering the price!

Alas my deck is playing funny buggers atm, and will soon be ditched (aka the style of the fax machine in the Office Space movie) in lieu of an alpine equivalent :-)

Haha, I did the same thing with my stock system from one of my cressidas.


Scott, we should just figure out how to do a custom enclosure for the trunk and then just do it twice, really nice haha. Would save time and money

I'm toying with the idea of making a fibreglass enclosure that would fit against the drivers side rear fender. I really can't be arsed doing it for a once off, but if you guys are interested...
