Hey, I have recently purchased a 1993 Lexus Soarer and just been to find out about installing a new Sound System and deck in my car and the dude said that to put a new deck and speakers in my car i would need to rewire the whole car is that correct?

firstly, Lexus Soarer??? I have a gttl, and i had to run wires for the speakers. The stock head unit only sends a signal to the amp for the speakers, it does'nt power the speakers! Theres not positive and negative wires for speakers. They all come out of the amp in the boot. Make sense? If you want to know how to wire it up, i can try and describe it to you.

It is a V6, i will be getting someone to install as i don't know how to and don't really want to play with it. I am just trying to find the best possible deal around.

Yeah the system in the cars are good but you cant access radio stations like 101.7 and that's my favourite radio station. I want to purchase as well as install a system. I have a deck in mind. I will try and contact phil at Audio image.will be a bit of a drive from Fremantle though.
